Scalable Image Service

  • LORIS – IIIF compliant scalable image service that allows ability to zoom large detailed images

Annotation viewer and composer

  • Mirador is a IIIF compliant, configurable, extensible, and easy-to-integrate image viewer, which enables image annotation and comparison of images from repositories dispersed around the world.

  • Yale’s Mirador and Annotation System – improvements to Mirador project contributed back to above listed project in future releases. And Yale Annotation system used in conjunction with Mirador to allow for storing and accessing (via Drupal, SOLR, Mirador) annotations in conjunction with other functionality.
